These words were written by one of my customers in a card to his wife this Mother's Day as she had lost her daughter when she was just three months old. This poem is so beautiful, and I thought others could be comforted by the words also, so I asked Rodney if I could share them, and he agreed!
It is a poem written as a letter from someone to the child/person that has passed. By giving this blanket of love to the recipient, you are really letting them know you understand, and want to comfort them.
The lower left corner of the blanket includes the poem that reads:

Soaring cardinals, counting hours.
